Suggestion

There shouldn't be a base idea there should be a hotel where you stay if not when you log off and log back in ur are lying in a potatoe sack like a tramp unless u pay for the hotel you will be in a nice fancy room in the hotel when u log in and when u leave the room u see the front desk and u can walk out to where the hotel is which should be e.g like 10 zeny a day and if u hav no money u are kicked out there is unlimited amount of people in the hotel.

having a place to stay after you log out of the game is an okay idea and it would be qyuite easy to do, but a hotel is too modern since this game game has an old feeel to it because of the old looking shop and totem poles and the boat on the title screen.

That is a very valid point which i have taken to mind
I understand tht the game has an old fanish but this would mean that there would be no need for bases and you would be able o see each other bases in one place

You could simply keep the totem poles and use the hotel as a base area and u could use a simple elevater to get to your room which u get to with a password or take the stairs so u can see each level.

The higher the level the newer the person bought a room. Adding more floors(levels) as more people buy the houses room.

When you enter one of the room u can only see what they hav on dispaly and u cannot pick it up and all locked stuff is invisble. There is an invisible wall by the door so u cannot steal it u when u walk towards the wall it gives u an option to put in ur password and if it is write the wall vanishes
